Description

Join us online for an exclusive experience with the extraordinary John Jordan, AAW Honorary Lifetime Member and celebrated woodturning master.

John will turn a lidded jar with lathe-turned texture from green wood. You’ll see use of a side-ground bowl gouge, shear scraper, hollowing tools, and more, as well as hear about options for lids, including hammered metal. You’ll find out about using green wood for finished, refined pieces; a simple method for hollow turning and fitting a lid to the vessel after drying.

 

Important Notes

  • All experience levels are welcome.
  • Live online demonstration will be approximately 90 minutes, followed by Q and A.
  • Registration will be open through Friday, November 20, at noon Eastern Time.
  • Sign up now and save! Even if you cannot join us for the live event, your $10 advance registration includes online replay of the event through December 6. If you purchase the replay after the event, the cost of the replay may be higher due to additional processing costs.
 

 

Confirmation/Receipt and Event Link

  • A link to the event will be sent by email approximately 24-hours prior to the event.

Replay

  • A replay of the event will be available online for registered attendees through December 6. Registered attendees will be provided a link via email when the replay is available for viewing.
  • Even if you cannot join us for the live event, your $10 advance registration includes online replay of the event through December 6. If you purchase the replay after the event, the cost of the replay may be higher due to additional processing costs.
