Dear Colleague,

We are delighted to share with you the articles that have been published in Volume 3 of the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease Reports during Q2, 2019. This is our online-only, fully open access journal that gives equal weight to original research in basic science, translational research and clinical studies. It is dedicated to providing an open forum for original research that will expedite our fundamental understanding of Alzheimer's disease (AD), and is a sister publication of the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease (JAD).

Together, JAD Reports and JAD provide the AD community with greater and faster access to the breadth and depth of relevant content. We encourage direct submissions to JAD Reports, taking advantage of the open access option and accelerated publication timeline (see instructions here).

A new longitudinal study by Maria Sagrario Manzano Palomo et al. (Infanta Leonor Hospital, Madrid, Spain) has shown that a nutritional drink designated a "food for special medical purposes" containing the multinutrient combination Fortasyn Connect® can benefit patients with the earliest stages of Alzheimer's disease (AD), mild cognitive impairment, who are at risk of progressing to the dementia stage of AD.
