In this role, you will responsible for the provision of nursing services provided in the Medical Services Division, including occupational health and correctional care.

Annual Salary: $107,552 – $157,268 (plus applicable bonuses)

  • A current and valid Registered Nurse License issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing; and
  • Possession of a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR card; and

  • Three years of full-time paid professional registered nursing experience, one year of which must provide experience as a Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or Clinical Coordinator.

Helicopter Mechanic

ABOUT THIS JOB

In this role, you will  inspect, repair, overhaul, service, and return City-owned helicopters to service.

Annual Salary: $118,013 (flat-rated)

A 5.5% bonus is paid for possessing an FAA Inspection Authorization.  Some positions require night work, for which a higher salary is paid.

  • A valid mechanical certificate with Airframe and Power Plant ratings issued by the Federal Aviation Administration
  • Three years of full-time paid experience, two of which must have been within the past three years, as an FAA Certified Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic performing maintenance and alterations on one or more of the following turbine powered helicopters:
  • Bell 505 series, 429, or 412
  • Airbus AS 350 Series (EC130)
  • Leonardo AW 139
  • Qualifying experience above must include both:
  • FAR Part 91 or Part 135 inspections
  • Approving aircraft for return to service in accordance with FAR 43.9 or 43.11 or completion of the City of Los Angeles Helicopter Mechanic Training Program
