A blues dance workshop in South-West London! You like blues music, and want to learn to dance to it? You want to discover this dance because you heard people talking about it? You want to dance with a partner while having your expression? You want to furthe your knowledge of blues dancing? This workshop is for you!

Description
The day will be divided into three 50 minutes periods separated by short breaks. The division will be as follows:
In the beginning was the dance
If blues dancing (here and now) is often seen as a couple dance, it is first and foremost a dance, and when it’s danced with a partner, it’s two dancers meeting. During this first hour, we will discover and explore movements for themselves, without a partner.
And the dance was with the partnership
Having explored some typical blues movements, we will get closer, and learn how to play with these movements together with a partner, and incorporate them into our couple dancing, to create fun danced conversations.

Now we’re able to hold a dance conversation and to have fun, it is time to build a partnered danse, and to try movements that aren’t really possible solo, but that give its flavour to partnered dancing: turns, and traveling together.
Practical informations
Where is it? In Clapham, in St Peter’s Church Hall, Prescott Place, SW4 6BX.
When is it? On Saturday the 20th of February, 2016, from 2 to 5 PM (including short breaks).
How much does it cost? £10, £15, £20 or £30 depending on your financial capabilities. You get £5 off these prices if you have to travel a bunch to come (that is, if your postcode doesn’t start with “SW…”).
I want my workshop to be available to everybody, and that’s why I have this pricing structure. As a guideline, please pay
£10 if you earn less than £20,000 a year;
£15 if you earn between £20,000 and £30,000 a year;
£20 if you earn more than £30,000 a year;
£30 if you earn a lot and/or you want to support Honey Bee Blues.
Terms and Conditions
Your registration is confirmed by the full payment using the details given after your registration. If you retract yourself before the 5th of February 2016, the full price will be reimbursed (excluding eventual transfer costs). In case of retraction after the 15th of February, no reimbursement will happen. You can give your registration slot to someone else, as long as you tell the organiser by e-mail at latest 24 hours before the beginning of the workshop.
