Esports at Guildford College

Students can get ahead of the curve in this growing, fast evolving global esports industry. Covering units such as Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Games Design, Video Production, esports Law and Legislation to name a few. Students can choose from 20 units over two years. The course is a Level 3 BTEC and the two-year programme is equivalent to 3 A Levels. https://bit.ly/GCEsports

Outdoor Education at Merrist Wood College

Love doing DofE? Then this could be for you! Outdoor activity participation is growing. Sport England (2015) revealed that the climbing, mountaineering, and walking sector alone is worth £3.2 billion. Students will study a range of theoretical and practical units from the skills needed to inspire and coach in the activities they lead, to the all-important health and safety factors for keeping participants and themselves safe in the outdoors. This course is a two-year programme, equivalent to three A-Levels, and has been developed with employers and professional bodies, including the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL). Ecology at Merrist Wood College

Choose A Levels from Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Geography, and Environmental Studies, plus an extended project qualification (EPQ).
