Brenda Mann, MA Ed is a seasoned educator with over 30 years of experience. As both an accomplished professional and a compassionate mother who has personally navigated academic and behavioral challenges with her own children, Brenda is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on struggling students.
Having worked in both public and private school settings, Brenda recognized many parents' difficulties in supporting their children academically. Motivated to effect positive change, she established Academic and Behavior Consultants, aiming to enhance struggling children's educational and behavioral progress through collaborative efforts with families and schools.
Brenda's extensive expertise includes a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Early Childhood Education. She has specialized training in ADHD through CHADD (Children and Adults with ADHD) and serves as the Parent Administrator for her local CHADD Group. With a focus on brain-based disorders such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Anxiety, Depression, Autism, Dyscalculia, and Traumatic Brain Injury, Brenda provides Academic Coaching to parents and their children from elementary to college levels.
Drawing from over 20 years of teaching experience in remediation classes and general education for elementary, middle, and high school students, Brenda offers parent/teacher training on ADHD and other brain-based disorders. Additionally, she has created Summer Math and Language Art Boot Camps designed to strengthen skills and provide Executive Function training.
Brenda is also a certified Love and Logic Parenting Trainer, further enriching her ability to support families in navigating the challenges of raising and educating children.
