A-S2 = A PREQUEL TO "IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE"

Before he ever heard the name GEORGE BAILEY, Clarence Odbody had failed two training missions in heaven and was uninvited from the guardian angel program (GAIT). So begins the novella A-S2.

Wandering down on Earth, Odbody reunites with his former partner Sharah, who lures him to Vulkhan Island. There a renegade band of angels are led by the charismatic leader, Phosphorus (aka "The Shining One"), who encourages Clarence to pursue his passion. In time, the master horologist learns his new clocks—marketed under the Vulkhan's brand LUCIFER LUX—are integral to their nefarious plans to forge a One World Order.

Clarence—described by his supervisor as having the 'I.Q. of a rabbit'—outfoxes the rebel angel and is reinstated in the GAIT program. His first mission back: return to Earth on Christmas Eve to dissuade Bedford Falls' George Bailey from suicide.

A-S2: A Clockmaker's Journey serves as a "prequel" to the story featured in director Frank Capra's holiday movie classic, IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE.
