Hi, my name is Sophia Cooper, and I’m a reptile enthusiast. I’ve been keeping reptiles as pets for over 10 years now, and during that time, I’ve learned a lot about them. I’m also the author of the ReptileProfy blog, where I share my knowledge with others who are interested in learning more about these amazing creatures.
My Short Bio
I’ve been passionate about reptiles since I was a child. When most kids were afraid of lizards, I was fascinated by them. I would catch garter lizards in my backyard and keep them as pets. My parents thought I was strange, but I loved reptiles and knew that one day I wanted to work with them.
Now, as an adult, I am a professional reptile keeper and have worked with some of the world’s most venomous snakes. I’m also the author of ReptileProfy, where I share my knowledge about reptiles with others.
My Education and Working Experience
I have a degree in Biology from the University of Michigan. After college, I worked as a zookeeper for a few years before eventually landing my dream job as a reptile keeper at the Detroit Zoo. I’ve been working with reptiles ever since and have gained a wealth of knowledge about these amazing creatures.
My Zookeeper Experience in Details
My work at the zoo has given me the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most venomous snakes. I’m also responsible for caring for our collection of turtles, lizards, and crocodilians. In addition to my work at the zoo, I also volunteer with a local reptile rescue organization.
Why I Love Reptiles?
There are so many reasons why I love reptiles! They are such fascinating creatures, and there is always something new to learn about them. I also enjoy working with reptiles because they provide a unique challenge that you don’t find with other animals.
Reptiles are often misunderstood creatures, but I hope to change that perception by sharing my knowledge about them with others.
Why I Started ReptileProfy?
I started ReptileProfy because I wanted to share my love of reptiles with others. There are so many misconceptions about reptiles, and I want to help people learn the truth about these amazing animals. My goal is to educate people about reptiles and help them see that these creatures are not so different from us after all.
