Last Chance Clearance Store

This place is not for everyone- you definitely need to have enough time to search as it is PACKED with home items, clothes, shoes and more! You can spend hours here as they have great deals. I recommend coming having an idea of what you want cause there is so much to look at. The check out was quick and we were informed that the blue tags were 50% off which I then walked out with 4 pairs of quality shoes for $50.

For the designer area, you have to wait in line and you only get 5 minutes to look. I didn't find the prices to be anything crazy, meaning huge deals but I usually don't shop designer. There are people monitoring you who then walk you out after the 5 minutes are up. However, very respectful and nice.

Because of its location, I didn't have any service so I advise to just keep an eye on the team. Otherwise, happy shopping!

This used to be the place to go years ago on a Saturday morning before or after breakfast but now....SHEESH , It's a disaster of a place to go!!!

I just so happened to stop here after having breakfast after not having been here in over 10yrs or more. I remember it being a little more organized but my gosh has that changed. Kinda scared to touch anything using my bare hands now.

Stuff was just tossed everywhere and although they always have a crowd I personally didn't think that their prices were that grand.

If I remember correctly, you used to could go here and get a steal but now you're better off shopping online.

I did see a huge picture that I wanted but the darn thing was expensive. Idk just go to Nordstrom rack or TJ Max instead. It's not worth rummaging and digging here. It looks worse than Goodwill and honestly Goodwill is more organized and have new items for sale.

This stuff looks like a bunch of rejected used returns but not in good condition.

I won't be going again anytime soon but I also won't say never ever... but for now, Never! Lol

The store features basically returns from other department stores come here as a last chance used clothes store. There are a ton of clothes here, all mixed nothing really organized but you can find a good deal. I did get a good shirt for $3.00 and a scarf from a designer brand for very cheap. I couldnt even find shoes that were the same size same pair. It was all random.

Thing is if you go to the designated designer section, there is a line 4 at a time and you have a 3 minute time limit which is nuts.

Also there is no one in the floor helping you all the staff are in the registers and security. Its literally a free for all and finding a deal is tough.

I have a love hate relationship with Last chance. IF you have the patience you can find some really neat stuff. There has been days I've walked away with great buys. Other days the disordered mess just drives me away. There is stuff everywhere, kids running around through already cramped aisles shoes falling off shelves. Straight chaos lol

Do not come here if you are looking for something specific. This is more of a garage sale thinking. You might find some great buys but be ready for the chaos that comes with it!

I use to shop in this clearance store when it was another name years ago. You could find some great deals without too much trouble. The store was always packed with shoppers. Fast forward to today. I get the store name that it is your last chance to get a good deal. To me shopping was not pleasurable here. Crowds of people waiting in line, clothes are packed in the racks so tightly, it's difficult to see or remove and the store feels very disorganized. Yes there were deals to be gotten. I was not willing to fight the crowd. It was similar to shopping on a Black Friday. Not for me.

For those of you that don't know about this store, I'll explain why it's called last chance. Last chance is owned by Nordstrom, and they receive returns from Nordstrom and Nordstrom rack. The process is usually that it goes from Nordstrom to Nordstrom rack and if it's returned to Nordstrom rack or if no one buys it at Nordstrom rack then it goes here. But sometimes it ends up here right away if it has a manufacturer's defect or a small stain somewhere. Sometimes you can't tell what the issue is until you look closely.

I'm a bigger guy, so shopping for me isn't easy. Most stores don't carry much in my size so I have to look everywhere to find it. I got my engagement outfit from last chance and it looks great and it was cheap! Last chance has a great concept that just needs better execution. The value is by far deserving of 5 stars, so is the selection, but the service and the organization is where this store remains lack luster.

So immediately when you enter the store you have just entered Black Friday and people are fighting each other throwing things everywhere and there's crowds just roaming the store like a herd of sheep without a shepherd.

However.. It's definitely a place you can find the Diamond in the rough outfit if you have the patience and determination to do so.

Things are in random places, the customers don't care to place anything where it belongs so they pull it off the rack and throw it on top or put it somewhere completely different each time, and they don't have enough staff to mitigate the issue before it creates chaos.

So the only way to find what you're looking for is to go through every size rack, and look on top, to the side, even on the floor, to find that special gem that you're hoping to find. I found my lovely size 2x pants in the size small section for example lol.

They have a designed area full of Gucci, versache, etc , but they only give you a 5 minute shopping window and again it's a little disorganized. This kind of sucks because there's also a line to get to that area. I think they should consider doubling the size of the area so twice as many people can shop at the same time and increasing the shopping time allowance to 10 minutes, as well as staffing it a little better. Nothing in that section is cheap even though it's heavily marked down so why would they hurt their own sales on their highest ticket items, makes no sense.

The store is where all returns from Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack go, and we'll it's there last chance!

There seems to be two type of people who shop here- those of us who don't care about a little messiness , and then others who expect this place to look spotless.
I came for the deals and that's exactly what I got. I ended up getting three shirts, a belt and some shorts and a towel set. Great deals on each item. I didn't engage with any of the staff here but the cashier at the register was very funny and full of life. As long as the deals continue I'll come back!

This is not the place to go if you are prone to any sort of anxiety or OCD. I've been 4-5 times and it is by very definition - UTTER DISARRAY! Most of the stuff is from prior seasons, but here in Phoenix since our seasons are condensed so it's a little easier to find something you can wear sooner than later.

Probably the best things I've found were some Wit and Wisdom pants/jeans (20% of what they normally cost in Nordstrom) and a BCBG puffer coat (needed a small repair, but saved 70% on the coat) that saved my life when I had to go to Boston in the winter. More often than not, I will leave empty handed. I never stay longer than an hour, that is as much as I can take in this cluttered, somewhat dirty environment with swarms of people.

I do have a friend who goes weekly and combs through everything specifically on Friday mornings when a certainly color of tag is 80% off for the day. She has a good eye for the right brands that will resell and does pretty well reselling what she finds on Poshmark. It's a pretty good side gig. Friday mornings are not for the faint of heart. 100-200 ppl line up before the store opens to get in for this bombastic brawl for bargains. Yeah, so there is that...

A hot mess. I really don't know how else to describe what you are subjecting yourself to of this is where you choose to shop. This has to be the most disorganized and chaotic shopping environment in the planet. The merchandise is just thrown everywhere which I think is more a reflection on the clientele than the employees, but I'm not sure. Honestly I'm not sure that the employees even try to straighten up. Maybe they figure what's the point? Either way, be prepared. And if you do find something, double check for the security tag, which apparently doesn't work because I got all the way home before realizing the young lady didn't remove it. Grrrr....

I've found shoes & jacket here before but it's work to go through it all .
It was a " zoo" yesterday with 50% off pink slipped items from already discounted prices .
I didn't find anything but didn't spend much time . It takes time to sift through the racks and the crowds .
Many name brand items and Nordstrom brands . Nordstrom used to be known for shoe selection too.
Last chance has deals for the patient customers .
