Carol Heppner is an author, columnist, professional photographer, and mixed-media artist with over 20 years’ experience. She provides clients with a complete service from content creation, design concepts and artwork through photography to finished marketing materials. Carol's work has appeared in magazines, manufacturers’ publications and products, large-box craft stores, show booths and advertisements. Carol blends her client's style with current trends for product awareness and profitability.

Editiorial Experience

In addition to serving as Editor in Chief for a formerly owned publication and for various Designer Section publications, Carol served on the Editorial Advisory Board of Scrap and Stamp Arts Magazine, Scott Publications. Her column, Art Smarts!™ provided readers with an in-depth instruction on intermediate to expert craft techniques. She is also a magazine-cover photographer and an Author. Carol creates content for major creative arts products manufacturers.

AFCI Designer Section Chair

As the 2015-2016 Chair of the Association for Creative Industries Designer Section, Carol led, promotes, and represented the interests of the Designer Section members in AFCI, an international trade association. Carol served as the 2017 Chair Emeritus of the Designer Section.
