'False auction bids' on boy's charity paper Olympic torch

The mother of Logan McKerrow, 5, who started a torch relay for charity using an internet auction site, says they want to "draw a line" under a number of fake bids which were placed on Saturday.

At one point, bids for the paper torch reached £150,000, before being withdrawn.

Logan had the idea of auctioning his school project online, after seeing real Olympic torches sell for thousands of pounds.

The money is being raised for the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People charity.

Logan appeared with his mother Kerry on BBC Breakfast, and took great interest in seeing himself on television.
