Welcome to the strange world of Catterfly. Cosmic sex and unusual ideas of ambient and psychedelic electronica in a fantasy of metamorphoses. With inspiration from legends like Ralph Lundsten and Björn J:son Lindh, Catterfly takes the genre into a modern world of expressions and female power.

Catterfly Metamorphoses is Catterfly's journey through life, mysticism and the cosmos, all at the same time in the eternal spiral of change. A collection of stories through dystopian fates to organically fluorescent worlds. A curiosity with changes down to the smallest cell and thoughts on the infinite, together through time and space.

The multi-artist and music producer Emma Sörensen formed her electronic solo project Catterfly back in 2015 and since then she has played live, released singles and remixes. She is a multi-instrumentalist who likes to explore the point where field recordings, the electronic and acoustic instruments, such as voice, flutes, accordion and harmonica, meets. Catterfly's music is described as imaginative and surrealistic sound formations, which are built up through improvisational and emotional expressions. Organic electronic music with an aura of folk music.

Emma Sörensen has played in many different bands in different genres over the years. She has created music in various contexts such as concerts, tours, documentaries and theater performances. Now the focus is on her electronic solo project where she is transformed into her complete supernatural form in - Catterfly Metamorphoses.
